This backyard in Verona started with a landscape design which allowed us an attractive visual way to present our ideas (and installation costs) to our client. This design focused on the creation of several small slightly informal outdoor spaces, all to help increase opportunity for being outside. Utilizing large, native deciduous and evergreen trees to screen views helped increase privacy. There’s a small circular memorial space used for reflection and recalling fond memories of past family members. We helped dictate navigation on and off their wonderful existing limestone patio – now a small shrub border bed helps frame the space and makes it cozier. Long lasting planting bed edges constructed of local wallstone really creates a punch and nice contrast against the green lawn.
