Homeowner and member of the Wild Ones, a non-profit organization that advocates for the use of native landscaping, came to Formecology with the hopes of transforming their existing front yard into an exemplary space of native plants, rain gardens, and sustainable storm-water management. To reduce the area of hard surfaces and allow storm-water to better infiltrate on site, an asphalt drive was replaced with an eco-driveway with a permeable patch of no-mow grass. Transforming the walkway into an enjoyable entryway for the ranch styled home complimented the curvilinear aesthetics of the yard.
