An extensive renovation project turned this home into a modern artistic representation of the client’s theatrical passion and sophistication. The home features bold contemporary architecture with strong geometric lines, while preserving an intimate and romatic feel. A planar landscape master plan unites the abstract architecture with the existing wooded backyard. Installing bioswales with check dams to manage stormwater above ground created an opportunity to intensify the geometric shapes in the landscape.
