We worked with this Brooklyn client to design an outdoor space that was functional, attractive and close to her 4-legged companions. The design and installation took a severely steep sloped and used modular block to match existing materials onsite to hold the slope back and create the framework for this wonderful outdoor space. Red granite and pavers were used to visually connect to the clients existing walkway that leads to the front door. Stone steps allow for easy navigation with the elevation changes. Rainwater from the garage roof was an issue as well, as it froze every winter on the driveway causing icy conditions. Our solution included an infiltration trench that was buried under the stepping stones and planting bed.
