These Madison clients had several landscape issues that needed to be addressed, not only for aesthetics, but also for safety and function. Poor initial construction and a sloped yard created poor water drainage and led to their existing retaining wall deteriorating quickly. The slope also created difficult and hazardous mowing conditions. Crooked and uneven walkways and steps at the front and side entrances became a safety issue, especially for the client’s family members with accessibility needs. The existing driveway did not accommodate spacing for two vehicles. Starting with our design/build process, we developed a plan to implement functional and beautiful solutions.
