Madison, WI
The front entryway of this Nakoma ranch received a welcome facelift when an existing cracked walkway and stairway was eliminated. We installed a simple and safe circulation route with comfortable steps and a large landing/patio, which provides double function as a seating space. This vital transition space adds life and vitality to the front of the home, creating an outdoor room for relaxation and entertaining.
The patio space feels welcoming, but still private due to the native shrub border and a natural stone wall which echoes the materials found in the facade of the home. A natural-tone dye was added to the concrete patio space to complement the warm colors of the house. The combination of native plants, local stone and re-used railing materials make this entryway more sustainable as well as beautiful.
Eco-friendly sustainable landscaping.
Throughout our 27 year history, we have been quite different than other landscape design-build companies – we don’t limit ourselves to simply beautifying the landscape.
